Amy's Place is an unbelievable vegetarian restaurant that is funky and eclectic. We love to kick back with an amazing cup of coffee or tea, a delicious meal, and just enjoy the laid back music and the cool vibe. Their sandwiches are amazing here, but all the specialty entrees are really good too. Anything with lentils in it is a winner in our book, including the lentil berry sandwich, and we also love the veggie wet shoes, which is a generous scoop of lentils, veggies, cheeses, sour cream, and salsa poured over delish curly fries. Yum! After reading that, you've got to be ready to go check this place out now. Very highly recommended.

Left Bank is one of our favorite restaurants in Buffalo. If you've read many of our reviews in the past you know that ahi tuna is one of our top favorites, and any restaurant that does it right always gets high marks from us. Well, Left Bank gets it right. Their ahi tuna tartare is just so amazing. Truly rare and really mouth watering. We also love the angus rib-eye steak which has melted gorgonzola cheese on top, and their pork raviolis are also something worth writing home about, as they say! Really great staff, a beautiful atmosphere, and a nice wine list too. Wonderful bartenders. What more is there to say? This place is a gem.

Shango Bistro and Wine Bar is excellent for a night of drinking or an elegant dinner, or both! The cuisine is in a distinct New Orleans vein, and we appreciate that. They have a gumbo made with chicken and sausage that will really blow your mind, and for dinner do not skip that bananas foster. That's OMG-worthy if anything ever was. It really is that good. We love the friendly service and the nice atmosphere... it's always a good time at Shango Bistro and Wine Bar, whether you come in an intimate pairing of two or with a large group of friends. Reservations are recommended!

Bistro Europa is the place to go if you want to enjoy the succulent flavors of Poland! Try the wonderful stuffed pierogies, the incredible chicken paprikas with liver dumplings, and the unbelievable potato pancakes. They even have head cheese here, which you may also know as brawn or souse. That's a European delicacy that is all too hard to find in restaurants! Wonderful duck too. Everything here is just so good, and you'll feel like you're at your grandmother's house enjoying an authentic homemade meal. Don't miss this.

Kuni's has got to be the top sushi bar in Buffalo. We've been coming here for years and we love it so much. The salmon sashimi is one of our favorite things here, which elsewhere would be ordinary, but here it's a rare treat since it's served with delicious daikon and a vinegar plum sauce that we love. The spicy tuna rolls are another highlight, as are the eel and avocado rolls. Don't miss the Gintara which features grilled cod with miso and sake. That's a flavor combination sensation if we've ever tried one! For dessert, may we suggest the green tea ice cream. Yum!

People go absolutely wild over Bacchus Wine Bar & Restaurant, and there is no question why they do. The customer service here is beyond fantastic, and the food is on par with that too. If you order wine, they'll pour a bit for you to try first to make sure that you like it. Taking a look at their menu, you can't go wrong with the duck confit with mango salad, the stuffed monkfish, and the vegetable egg rolls. We also love the grilled salmon here, and the rack of lamb is exquisite. Gorgeous surroundings, warm ambiance, and great service. One of the best.

Hutch's manages to get rave reviews without trying too hard, and we appreciate that! Their food is just fantastic, from the finer offerings such as filet mignon to the simpler ones like a delicious salad. The bar is what really brings us in time after time, for that incredible wine list, which some say is the best wine list in Buffalo and the surrounding area! Enjoy some appetizers with that wine and you're good to go. We just love this place. Great service too, and really relaxing ambiance. Gotta love it.

Arirang Korean and Japanese Restaurant is fantastic for those who are looking for an authentic Korean and Japanese dining experience in the Buffalo area. If you have ever been to Korea, you'll feel right at home when you walk through these doors. The only thing that we have to complain about is the fact that they do not have any floor seating, which would make it even more authentic. The food though, is outstanding. Try the bi bim bap, the jae yuk dol bap, and the dweng jeong jilgae. All are fantastic. The best evidence of how great this place is? Most of the customers that we have seen there are Korean. Truly authentic, truly good. Very highly recommended.

Gin Gin Restaurant is a great little Chinese restaurant that we just can't get enough of. They've got so many different dishes here, comprising an emormous medley of all the differnet dishes we have tried at Chinese restaurants across America. It's impressive. If you happen to have guests with you who just want some American food, they've got that too, including some really great chicken wings and french fries. The portions here are quite enormous, so you'll want to take some home for another meal! Great service too, and very clean environment.

Taste of India is a buffet that serves some of the best Indian food around. Don't let the "buffet" style of eating put you off--the food is excellent and it's kept immaculately clean here, and the food is kept piping hot as well.  They've got chai here, which is something that we unfortunately don't find at most of the Indian restaurants that we have frequented. They do close down between 2:30PM-4:00PM to clean up and prepare for the dinner hours, which can sometimes make your lunch arrangements difficult. But we love that they put so much effort into keeping a clean and well-prepared restaurant. All around one of our favorite places in Buffalo.
