Aniello's Pizzeria
is our favorite place to go for a delicious all-cheese pizza, but
they've got a great variety of toppings too if you're the type that
likes to pile them on! We also enjoy their antipasto salad which pairs
just perfectly with those pizzas, and if you're going for an amazing
trio, then opt for the chicken wings too! You can actually combine the
best of both worlds as far as the pizzas and wings go, by getting the
chicken wing pizza. Too good! The fresh rolls are another great thing
to get. Wonderful service and a cool atmosphere too. Be sure to give
this one a try when you're in the Corning area. 68 E Market St Corning, NY 14830 (607) 962-2060
Three Birds Restaurant
is one of our favorite places to go after a long hard day at work. Just
kick back and relax with a delicious entree, maybe some soup and
salad... it's always so fresh and delicious. The duck breast with
endive and potatoes is one of our favorite dishes here, and we also
really enjoy their butternut squash soup. The hangar steak is
also delicious and we'd very highly recommend the red pepper bisque.
It's one of the fancier restaurants in the area, so it's nice for dates
and more intimate occasions. Truly excellent service too. 73 E Market St Corning, NY 14830 (607) 936-8862
Thali of India
is definitely the best place for Indian food in the Corning area. They
have one of the largest menus we've ever seen at any Indian restaurant,
including many options for vegetarians, plenty of desserts, and a
really impressive wine list. The spinach ghota is one of our favorite
things here, and the aloo gobi is also amazing. The service is quite
good despite the fact that there aren't many servers here. They keep up
with all the customers very well. The prices are moderate and they've
got a great lunch buffet too. 28 E Market St Corning, NY 14830 (607) 936-1900
Cellar
is a wonderful tapas bar and wine bar, and we've had the pleasure of
dining at this establishment serveral times. They've got a great staff
that can easily recommend dishes for you as well as pairing the perfect
wines with them. They have wonderful fish tacos, cheese plates,
bruschetta, and paella, and we love the fact that they have so many
different wines by the glass to enjoy with them. Great beef skewers
too! You can't go wrong with anything on the menu or wine list. It's
all too good! Don't miss this hot spot when you are in Corning! 21 West Market St Corning, NY 14830 (607) 377-5552
Holmes Plate
is much more than just a cute restaurant with a clever name. The staff
at this restaurant really goes out of their way to make sure that the
customers are comfortable, and when you get a look at that list of
beers you'll be even more comfortable! Ready to settle in and stay
awhile. They've got lots of microbrews here too, and may we suggest the
Guinness onion rings to go along with any one of those delicious beers?
It's wonderful. The bleu cheese burgers are our favorite thing to eat
here, and they are perfectly cooked to order. Very highly recommended! 54 W. Market Street Corning, NY 14830 (607) 377-5500
Tony R's
is THE place for seafood and steaks in Corning. It's located downtown
and it's very upscale, with gorgeous exotic wood accents and a really
elegant atmosphere. We love to start things off with the lobster bisque
or the french onion soup, and for an entree you can't go wrong with any
of the pastas, steaks, or seafood dishes. If you've got a special
occasion coming up like a birthday or anniversary, consider spending it
at Tony R's. You'll feel like a king or a queen dining in an atmosphere
like this. Just outstanding! 2 - 6 E Market St Corning, NY 14830 (607) 937-9277
Old World Cafe & Ice Cream
is such a cool spot to go for some delicious sandwiches and ice cream.
It does get pretty busy during the lunch hour, so you may want to
consider coming in a little earlier or a little later if you tend to be
in a rush. We love their ice cream here because the flavors are so
plentiful and the prices are so cheap! It's old fashioned here, but in
an authentic way as opposed to a kitschy way. Give it a try for
yourself when you're in the area and find out what you've been missing. 1 West Market Street Corning, NY 14830 (607) 936-1953
Bob Evans Farms Restaurant may
be a chain restaurant, but it's one that we really love, especially for
breakfast. Lots of Corning residents make this their official breakfast
stop too. They've got all your favorites, beginning with that piping
hot coffee, going into the omelettes and fried eggs with meat and
toast, and of course they've got pancakes and belgian waffles as well.
Great desserts and lunch and dinner entrees too. Way more than just
breakfast. Great service and relaxed atmosphere too! 1 S Buffalo St Corning, NY 14830 (607) 937-9228
Murphy's Woodhouse Tavern
is a really great place to stop in and watch the game while you nosh on
delicious bar fare and drink your favorite beers. You get a free
pitcher of beer if you bring your scorecard from Indian Hills too, and
all the times that we've come in that has meant ANY beer that you like,
even the most expensive ones. We recommend the Guinness of course!
They've also got some of the very best wings you'll ever find in this
area, so don't miss them. Everything's great here from the service to
the ambiance! 102 Columbia St Corning, NY 14830 (607) 936-9632
London Underground Cafe
is aptly named because it has a decidedly pub type atmosphere, yet it's
truly more of a cafe. We really love all the food here, and we're
particularly big fans of their fish and chips and their pork
tenderloin. We love the fact that the kitchen is located in the front
of the restaurant so you can watch them prepare your food. The people
who run this restaurant are so careful to make everything authentic and
genuine, and that's why we love it so much. Very, very highly
recommended! 69 E Market St Corning, NY 14830 (607) 962-2345
