Paynes Kettle and Keg is a wonderful restaurant that is comfortable for family dining, intimate dates, and small gatherings with good friends. The food is really out of this world, and that's why we keep coming back again and again. The french onion soup is oft-recommended and there's no question why! So good. The fried cauliflower is also a nice starter. If you're wanting a sandwich, the chicken finger submarine sandwich is surprisingly good, as is the tuna melt. Let's not forget to mention the reuben too, it's one of the best. Great burgers too. The beer selection isn't huge here, but it's nice and cold and the price is low! You'll love this place.

We first stopped into El Azeteca just because of the convenient location off I-90, but once we found out how excellent it is, we just kept on coming back for more and even recommending it to all our friends. The chips and salsa would be reason enough to come here, but then when you take a look at those irresistible entrees you'll really be hooked for life. We recommend the carnitas and the chalupas the most, but you cannot go wrong with any item on the menu. Very clean surroundings and fast friendly service too. Very highly recommended!

Pizza Village is a restaurant that we have always loved. We've been coming here for so many years now, and we'd venture to say that they have the very best pizza and wings in all of Dunkirk. The prices are also incredibly affordable, and the staff that works there really puts in work to keep things running smoothly, to keep everything sparkling clean, and to warmly welcome each and every customer into the establishment. That personalized service is just one of many reasons that we can't get enough of this place. Definitely give it a try when you're in the area!

Central Sta Restaurant is a fabulous restaurant that is the exact opposite of those chain restaurants that we dislike so much! The owner's name is Judy and she has really put in lots of hours to make sure that this place offers something different than all the rest. Everything is good here, but what really keeps us coming back is that incredible selection of baked goods. Forget about the other bakeries in the area, this selection puts them to shame! Truly delish, and affordably priced. Wonderful place for breakfast and lunch too.

Blasdell Pizza is one more pizza restaurant that we just had to mention here, because the quality of the food is just superb. The pizza is of course fantastic or we wouldn't even bother to mention them, but they are also known for their generously sized subs and their special deals on the sub of the month. Their salads are also really fresh and crisp, and we love their breadsticks too. The service is a little bit hit or miss but the food is top notch and consistent, and for that we had to put them on this list. Really good stuff!

Holy Wong Chinese Take Out Restaurant is perfect for those evenings when you just want to stay in and enjoy some delicious Chinese food while you watch a movie or hang out with your significant other or friends. The food is always ready super fast, so you can just call it in and rush right out the door to get it, or even order it while you're there because the wait won't be that long. The crab rangoon is one of our favorite things here, and the pork lo mein is really awesome.  Give it a try next time you're in Dunkirk and find out what you've been missing.

China King Restaurant is another of our favorite Chinese restaurants in Dunkirk, this time buffet style! If you are a student, you can get a nice hefty student discount, so be sure to bring your ID with you. Some people are put off by the idea of eating at a buffet, but when it's kept clean as this one is, and the food is always fresh and hot, we really can't resist. The offerings range from healthy steamed dishes to all-out artery cloggers, and we love it all! Really delicious food and a very friendly staff too.

Tito's Sports Bar & Restaurant is one of the few places in Dunkirk that we actually haven't visited ourselves, but it's been recommended so highly by all our friends that we just had to include it here. We've heard lots of great things about their welcoming staff, their low drink prices, and their delicious food. The ambiance is supposed to be very comfortable from what we've heard, kept very clean for being a sports bar, and nicely decorated too. We're looking forward to trying it for the first time the next time we're in Dunkirk, but thanks to all the recommendations from our friends we just had to recommend it to you now!

Four Seasons Family Restaurant is wonderful for those gatherings with friends or of course a night out with your family, enjoying delicious classic favorites and chatting while you sip your wine or nosh on a delicious appetizer. We've been treated to nothing but amazing service here, and there's really nothing better than relaxing in such a beautiful atmosphere with a bunch of your loved ones. Demetri's On The Lake is always a pleasant place to dine, and of course one of the reasons that it's so attractive is because of that gorgeous lake shore view. Grab a seat by the window and relax with a glass of wine, some tasty appetizers, a hearty entree, and even a wonderful homemade dessert. It's easy to let a couple of hours drift by when you're enjoying good company and great service, and that's something you always receive at Demetri's. Never a bad experience here. Very highly recommended.
