One-Eyed Jack's BBQ Restaurant is the one and only place that we recommend for truly authentic barbecue food in Lockport! We absolutely love the St Louis ribs, and they are slathered in just the perfect amount of bourbon sauce to really play up the flavor of that incredible meat! The brunswick stew is another of our favorite things on the menu, with lots of smoked pork, potatoes, corn, and peas. It's just too good! They've got lots of yummy sides to pair with your barbecue too, from beans to fries, right down to that delicious garlic bread that everybody loves so much! For dessert we would very highly recommend the pecan pie. You just can't beat that sweet flavor after a hearty meal. Don't miss this place!

Garlock's Restaurant is a wonderful place to go with the family for a delicious dinner, to have a business lunch with your associates, or even to bring that special date. It's very comfortable, not too upscale or too casual, and all of the food tastes homemade. You can tell that they put a  lot of effort into crafting their recipes here. We love the filet mignon, and that pairs perfectly with the twice baked potato. The garlic bread is very rich and flavorful too. If you like something with a bit of bite, try the banana peppers for an appetizer. They're very good! And of course don't miss that french onion soup! Everybody recommends it and it really is as good as they say it is! Very highly recommended.

Mighty Taco is a great place to go for wonderful cheap Mexican food! This isn't the most authentic or the most fancy Mexican restaurant that you can find in the area of course, but it's good, cheap, and the service and ambiance are great! Very cozy and comfortable. You feel like you can just stop in at any time of the day to enjoy a nice snack or a hearty meal, and you really feel right at home. The Burrito De-Lite is a nice choice for those who are diet-conscious, and we also enjoy the Beef & Bean Burrito. The nachos are pretty basic here, just the chips and nacho cheese sauce, but they're so good you'll find yourself craving them. Great veggie tacos too! Can't beat the prices here!

Shamus Restaurant is one of the more upscale restaurants in Lockport, and we really recommend it for those special occasions and just for a nice night out with the family or with that special someone. The dress code is actually casual here, so you don't have to put on your Sunday best to come in, yet you can enjoy that upscale vibe nonetheless. We've never been here at a time when they weren't packed with happy customers, and yet it's always quiet enough to hold a conversation without having to speak up. Very comfortable and relaxing. What we'd recommend the most off the menu would be the crabmeat stuffed mushrooms and the delicious sea scallops with carmelized onion. Pair it with cabernet sauvignon and your evening is complete!

Pizza Oven has got to be the best place to grab a pizza in Lockport! It's true that their prices are a bit high compared to other restaurants, but that seems to be the only complaint that people have about this restaurant. When you consider the quality of the pies that you get for those prices, it doesn't seem so bad. If you don't like sweet sauce, you won't like this place--sugar lovers only please! Their sauce has got to be the sweetest that we've ever tasted, and normally that's not our thing, but it is SO good here! Great little pepperonis too. We love both the pizza and stromboli here, and would very highly recommend them to anyone who is visiting the Lockport area! Always a great meal.

Reid's, if you aren't familiar with the area, is just a small hot dog stand on Route 78! We've been coming here for quite some time now, and it just seems like such an essential stop when you are in Lockport. You cannot beat the prices... you'll feel like you hopped in a time machine when you look at the menu! At the time of this writing a hot dog is just $1.25, fries are $1.10, and even a double cheeseburger will set you back just a little over two bucks! How is this possible? We have no idea. But why question it when you can get so much great food on the cheap? It's always good, old fashioned diner style food, and you can't beat the fast service or the cute kitschy atmosphere. One of our favorites!

Danny Sheehan's Steakhouse is a name that you'll want to remember if you are a steak lover like we are! We've been coming here for years, and the food has always been just as superb as it was on day one. Never ever a bad meal here. When the weather is good you'll want to take advantage of that outdoor patio too... very romantic for special dates! It's true that the building could use some maintenance, but if you can overlook that and focus on the delicious food and excellent service, you'll see why everybody loves this place so much. If you're not in the mood for one of their fantastic steaks, and you happen to be a seafood lover, we recommend the broiled seafood dinner with the potatoes au gratin. Magnifico!

Village Eatery Italian Bistro is such a wonderful spot, and definitely one of our favorites in Lockport. They started small and have continued to add to the restaurant as time goes by. It's wonderful to come in and support a local business that you can actually watch grow from the ground up. Nothing but continual improvement over the years, and they were fantastic from the start. What we'd recommend to you most highly is that famous pizza, their huge subs, the juicy crispy wings, and of course that amazing baked ziti. They've also got an amazing seafood salad that seems far too good to come out of a strip mall! The location is an afterthought here. Don't judge this book by its cover! Truly awesome restaurant.

Indian Grill Restaurant & Bar is the place to go in Lockport for delicious Indian food! They've got such a huge variety of food here, it's just out of this world. Lots of wonderful curry flavors and truly authentic chai tea. Starbucks has got nothing on these guys. The lunch buffet is a great way to introduce yourself to Indian fare, for one reason because the price is low and affordable, and for another reason because you can try a little bit (or a lot!) of everything. They've also got a liquor license now and a very nice bar, so it's cool to come in and enjoy a hearty meal and then sit down at the bar for a drink or two afterwards. We wish the food was a little bit spicier here, but that's the only thing we can even complain about. Everything here is just out of this world. One of our highest recommendations!

Wagner's Restaurant is actually half bar, half restaurant, and we love coming in both for a delicious meal and for some mouth watering drinks. It's a family friendly restaurant with a nice kids menu, and they've got coloring books and crayons for the kids too. For lunch we love to come in and grab a roast beef sandwich and a beer, you just can't come up with a better lunch combo than that. The pastas and steaks are very good too, but it seems like most people come in here for the sandwiches, appetizers, and wings. The ambiance is nothing fancy, but we love everything that they offer here. Great New York style and the kind of food that you can't find anywhere else. So good!
