Bohemian Moon is really one of the very best restaurants in the Norwich area, and it's probably our top pick, though that's a hard choice to make in a city full of such great restaurants. The food here is made from locally grown produce, and we really appreciate that green approach to dining. Though the wings are just an afterthought on the menu, they are one of our favorite things to get here as an appetizer because they are so fantastic! Different from any wings we've had anywhere else. We love the fact that they've got Guinness on tap here, and can't get enough! The ambiance is so warm and friendly here, very nicely decorated and always so inviting. There are a million reasons to love this place.

Park Place Restaurant & Lounge is the place to go when you are craving some all American food right here in Norwich. We used to always get their steaks, along with their delectable mashed potatoes, but the last few times we have been here we've opted for the ravioli with cream sherry sauce. Cream sherry is one of our favorite things in general, so when you make a sauce from it, we really flip for it! It's wonderful. They've got a very good pulled pork sandwich here too, and nice fries to go along with it. The ambiance here isn't much to write about, but it is kept very clean and spotless, and the focus is on the food as it should be. Great food, good service, and prices that can't be beat!

Coffee Connection is another one of our top picks in Norwich, probably right in line after Bohemian Moon. We love the ambiance so much. It's very cozy and homey, with nice decor and art on the walls. When it comes to the drinks, it's more than just coffee here... they've got a complete array of top shelf liquors and even some great microbrews! Great wine too. We really love the crisp fresh salads here, and they've got a crab cake that is just amazingly fresh and flavorful. They've got a nice selection of tapas too, and we'd recommend the nachos with chicken the highest of all. For being such a basic dish, it's really packed with flavor and nobody can seem to resist them. Great service here too!

Nina's Pizzeria & Restaurant is one of those old fashioned pizzerias that you know you can rely on from year to year. It's true that the service can seem a little bit slow here, but the pizza always arrives piping hot and perfectly cooked so we can't complain! "Worth the wait" would sum that up very well. They've got one of the best tasting crusts that we've ever had, as well as smearing on just the perfect amount of sauce under that delicious cheese and toppings. It all comes together to be one of the best pizzas ever! The only downside of this restaurant is that they are not open on Mondays, and sometimes when we find ourselves in Norwich on a Monday, we wish we could grab one of their great pizzas!

Lucky Kitchen is a great little Chinese restaurant that is mostly focused on takeout, but they do have a few tables for those who prefer to eat in. We've dined in a few times when we've been in the area and the food is always so fresh and good! Their won ton soup is one of our favorite things here, really a cut above the won ton soup that we have had at other Chinese restaurants in the area. The staff is very friendly and welcoming, but there is a bit of a language barrier here, so we recommend ordering everything exactly as it is on the menu and not saying much else. They do have a really massive menu here, so you can get just about any of your favorite Chinese dishes, and the price is right!

Bill's Diner is a Greek family owned and operated restaurant where you can get some of the most delicious American and Greek diner specialties around. You may be familiar with this place as Ossie's II -- it's now Bill's Diner. We would most highly recommend some of their breakfast fare, though you can't go wrong with a delicious diner burger either! Our favorite thing about this spot is that it's really family run, rather than having a bunch of random employees every time you come in. You start to get to know the names and faces and it feels like you're visiting friends. Consistency is something that most restaurants lack today, but this one's got it. Very highly recommended if you love diner food!

Garf's Deli is our favorite spot for sandwiches in Norwich! There's not really much here in terms of seating, but we still love to come in and grab some great deli fare, and either sit outside and eat it or head over to a nearby park if the weather is good. It's typically pretty packed here, so you will find yourself waiting in line, but it's always worth it! And of course that long line is a sign of a place that has really fantastic food. They've also got excellent coffee, so if you enjoy that drip coffee like we do, you don't need to spend an arm and a leg on it at your usual coffee place. Just grab a hot cup of joe right here when you're getting your sandwich. Everything is great here. Can't go wrong with Garf's!

Karolyn's Krossroads Cafe is the place that we love to go for a hearty pulled pork sandwich! This is barbecue at its best! It's actually smoked on the premises, so you know it's good. Along with that sandwich we usually buy some by the pound to take home with us. They've also got fantastic reuben sandwiches if that's your thing. Of course those are just the tip of the iceberg here, they've got every kind of sandwich you can imagine, and everything that they serve here is superbly fresh and delicious. Always great service too, and possibly the best thing about this place (other than that pulled pork!) is the friendly atmosphere and warm ambiance. We've never had a bad dining experience here! Very highly recommended!

Carmen's Cafe is just a little greasy spoon that we love in Norwich. If you are a fan of diner food like we are, you will not want to miss this place! They've got all your diner favorites from hamburgers to hot dogs to salads to sandwiches, and the best part of all is that the prices are much lower than you will pay elsewhere for the same quality food. Everything is made from really high quality ingredients, and we just love every single thing on the menu! Very friendly staff too, and a comfortable diner atmosphere that we can't get enough of. Very highly recommended!

Millie's Diner is going to be a short and sweet review, because the place itself is very straightforward. Millie is a dynamo, and she has been running this place for as long as we can remember. She's the one who runs things around here, from top to bottom, so you can thank her for those wonderful breakfasts and all those delicious lunch specials. It's a really well oiled machine here, so you know you can come in at any time and get a hot delicious meal, FAST. And of course, we all love that sign that hangs proudly on the premises: "TODAY'S MENU: TAKE IT OR LEAVE IT." You've got to love that. This place really is as good as it gets. Classic diner fare at its very very best.
