Zabroso Restaurant and Lounge is a truly impressive Spanish restaurant that we cannot recommend highly enough to you! Everyone that we know goes wild for this place, and we do too. Their paella is the absolute best we have ever tasted. We've never found one this good elsewhere even after some concentrated searching. We really enjoy pairing the seafood paella with chardonnay, it is a perfect combination in our eyes. They have delicious tapas selections here too, and you can't go wrong with the grilled chorizo as an appetizer. That really sets the tone for a lovely meal that's packed with flavor. Wonderful roasted potatoes too! We recommend going here several times to try all the specialties. One time will not be enough!

Pepi's Pizza has moved to a new location on Genesee Street in Oneida, and it seems that they have only gotten better since the move, if that's even possible! We've loved this place for a very long time, and the primary reason for that is of course the pizza! It's total old school style, with a wonderful hand tossed crust that bakes up nice and light and a simple tomato sauce that really plays up the flavors of the toppings and the cheese. They have a game room here that's always a hit with the kids and it gives them something to do while you and your sweetie are chatting it up. The fried dough is one of our favorite things to order here, and we love the stuffed Pepi special too. Half priced wings every Monday makes for a great meal or appetizer too!

El Canelo Restaurant is a nice Mexican restaurant tucked away in an unassuming strip mall at Glenwood Shopping Center in Oneida. You'd never know how great the food was if you judged it by that unimpressive exterior! We're not crazy about the chips and salsa here, but the entrees are really delicious and we appreciate this place for both their dine in and takeout. The fajitas have a really nice surprise... tasty chorizo mixed in with the grilled vegetables! Very nice extra bit of flavor that you would not expect. We love their rice and beans here too. They're not reinventing the wheel here, just serving up some very filling and delicious Mexican food that  won't break the bank. Very highly recommended for a quick and affordable meal in Oneida.

Marble Hill Inn has one of the best and most comfortable bars that we have ever been to. It's conveniently located on the corner of East Hamilton Avenue and Betsinger Road, and we always love coming in for a hearty meal, especially if that includes their famous wings! They've got a great deal of items to choose from here, and a really nice wine list  too, and one of the best compliments we can give them is that the service has always been exceptional. Really wonderful staff that goes out of their way to make sure that the customers have a great time. They've got a nice private room for your special events too, so keep that in mind when birthdays and anniversaries are approaching! One of our highest recommendations in Oneida.

Jumbo's Restaurant is a great combination of a country breakfast restaurant and a dive bar if that makes sense! They've got all kinds of old appliances here from the earlier part of the last century, things that you have not seen since you last visited your great-great-grandmother's house if you ever did! It's really interesting and kitschy. The smaller bar with the TV is a great place to sit and talk with the residents and watch the game or whatever's on. In terms of the food we'd recommend  the enormous pancake (more than one will cost extra, but you probably won't be able to eat more than one!) and of course all the breakfast meats and eggs are really great too. Can't go wrong with anything on the menu!

Murphy's Corner is just a small town diner where you can get an amazing breakfast and chat with the locals. They've got a lot of boxing memorabilia from many years back dotting the walls, and that's cool to take a look at before or after your meal. This restaurant is always packed with happy customers, usually an older crowd, swapping stories and enjoying the laid back ambiance. It's always warm and cozy here, and it's one of the most relaxed places to go with a group of your friends for some amazing breakfast and some great conversation. We love it!

The Big Cheese is a great pizza spot in Oneida that we always recommend to our friends. For one thing you can't beat the location right there on Main Street. The crust is some of the best that we have ever tasted, really full of flavor and nice and chewy instead of being too crisp or too soft. They have an array of specialty pizzas that are very different from what you'll find elsewhere in town or even in the rest of New York... One that we especially enjoy is the garlic pizza, with the sauce made from garlic and oil, with riccotta, mushrooms, and spinach as toppings. That kind of flavor will really impress your tastebuds and you'll be as addicted to it as we are! Don't miss this place!

Friendly's Restaurant is a real tradition in New York, and this location in Oneida is one of our favorites. They've got wonderful ice cream here of course, which is what they've made their name with, but the actual meals here are also really wonderful. Since 1935 this restaurant has been serving up delicious breakfasts, lnches, dinners, kids meals, dinners, desserts, and even diet fare. We love their hamburgers, their chicken strips, their grilled chicken salads, their breakfasts with bacon and eggs, and of course those mouth watering desserts. The mint cookie crunch is one of our favorites woth oreos and hot fudge, and we also love the royal banana split. So good! Be sure to give this one a try the next time you're in the Oneida area.

Madison House Restaurant is great if you're looking for delicious homemade Italian food in Oneida. This is one of those restaurants that appears to be untouched by the hands of time, but if you're like us, you enjoy that authentic retro feel! It's very laid back and relaxed, and that's another thing that we enjoy. The staff is always incredibly friendly here, so much that we wonder how they can be in such a great mood all the time! It's refreshing to see that in an age of bad customer service. All of the pastas are just fantastic here and that's what we'd recommend most highly! But you can't go wrong with any of the entrees here. Everything is fresh and prepared perfectly. Very highly recommended to you any time you are visiting the area, especially for romantic occasions and family events!

Joe's Pizza & Sauce -- yet another pizzeria in the area that we would say is one of the best! It's true that there are a lot of these, but hey... New York is known for its excellent pizza! And this is definitely your source for that in the Oneida area. The prices here will absolutely blow you away. Less than seven bucks for a large pepperoni pie to take home and cook in your own oven for your family! Now that's a meal that is hearty, delicious, and homemade, even if it wasn't made by you! Everybody will love it just as much as if you did. It's really that good. We've been coming here for years and can't recommend it to you highly enough. Located conveniently on Wilson Street.
